Returning Taxpayer Money Back to Taxpayers

I'm pleased to share we had a very successful special session this week, focusing on returning state surpluses back to the people and our communities. Here are some highlights:

• An additional 2% individual income tax cut

• Allowing public charter schools to apply for School Building Authority (SBA) grants to pay for renovating, remodeling, purchasing or constructing a building.

• A child and dependent tax credit
